WHAT WE DO
Seymore’s Foundation is an "educator-centric" early childhood education advocacy group specializing in preadolescent drug awareness, education, and prevention. We support learning institutions, health organizations, law enforcement, and communities to educate and protect the preadolescent student population from the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco use.
We pursue this mission by developing and producing drug education curricula and activity-based prevention solutions targeting Kindergarten through 6th-grade students.
WHY WE DO IT
Although prescription and illegal drugs take their toll on American society, two legal drugs — alcohol & tobacco — pose perhaps the greatest danger to children and teenagers. A child or adolescent who smokes tobacco or drinks alcohol is … “65 times more likely to use marijuana”, for example than someone who abstains.
